My neighbor has a doghouse on his lawn and today I saw a stray cat took up residance in the house today. I really liked the concept of the cat in the big doghouse. Her yellow eyes and gray fur were beautiful. I couldn't find a way to frame the shot without my neighbor's garden hoses trailing up the back of the building.
I am on the fence if there is anything I could do to save this background or if I am just more in love with the concept than I should be. Maybe I should have concentrated on just shooting a great shot of the cat?
Thoughts?

Oh this looked like too much fun to pass by.
If you don't have photoshop (I don't only Lightroom) and you have Gimp but don't know how to use it, you can use Ipiccy.
Some more options:
1) blur out background
2) use the curve and either darken or white out the background then use the eraser to bring back what you want
3) clone out the unwanted stuff
Oh and BTW I like the hoses, gives it a place and feel for the backyard!
what fabulous thread.
