So with a little inspiration from a post I recently viewed here from a fellow 365er, I wish I remembered who! I challenged myself to a week of sign photography. after a little encouragement, I thought it would be a great challenge! Haha, Jerry, funny you should mention sign photography when I posted one today of my husband in a lovely hat under the "petting zoo" sign at the Atlanta Steeplechase--our anniversary--I got me a good one, too! So here's a little inspiration for the challenge. I'll see what I can find next week! :)
I wish I had not ETSOOI-ed this ...it makes it hard to see what it is. But this sign in front of my school was "dressed" by someone.. in post it notes. They flared out and looked like fluffy hair cowboy chaps. They stayed on for a LONG time..through rain and wind. Not sure how.
And this is a "bad" photo because the WHOLE thing is the sign, but we got a big laugh out of this when I saw it in the mall and posted it last year.... The angle makes it look like I really took it, and it has some confusing rreflections in there..and of course, Abe Lincoln must not have slayed that last vampire, but have been bitten by one and is now immortal! He was getting married here. Haha
Ha!ha! Thanks. I could have sworn I had never taken a photo of a sign until I went back through my project. Lol! I hope looking at that link you posted will help me step it up a notch in quality.
@espyetta Oh, I think I've got a few of those "people breaking the rule on the sign" photos, I'll have to see if I can dig them out. Of course, I'll forget...
I'll see if I can do it, I live in a rather dinky town so this should be interesting lol however I am going to Reno in Wednesday so I should get some great pics that day. I'll try to every day this week though, gives me something new to shoot :-)
