I don't know if this is the right place but today, June 16th 2021, I can't see any of the newly posted photos. I can see the name and the notes and even the discussion but there's just an icon where the pics should be, my own latest and those of others. I have restarted my Mac and my bnrowser and tried in a different browser as well.
Thanks for replying. It has been about 12 hours for me as well. No newly posted photos are appearing including my own. I can see notes and discussion but not the actual photo. I am not sure what to do about it, apart from wait and see as suggested above???@kjarn
@ankers70 I'm on a mac too with OS X El Capitan. I've had the same problem but not with everyone's photos - just a few, but it clears itself up in a few hours. Hope it resolves itself for you soon.
I'm on a PC and I'm having the same issue not being able to see photos on my feed, so I don't think it's just Mac-related. When I go into each person's post I can see the photo though. When this sort of thing has happened before it righted itself (or Ross did it) within 24 hours. :)
I'm wondering if the internet isn't overloaded recently. I've had this problem periodically then everything seemed ok. I have had additional problems with other sites loading, too. I guess we've gotten used to "blistering fast" speeds and now everyone is on the internet.
I’m on my iPad and experience this frequently in this past week. Normally, I don’t have any problem. It’s not on all photos and if I go back later it usually comes up.
@ankers70 I am still having the same issue and sometimes it is okay but this morning, photos are not displaying again, just question marks. Interesting to see it is not just me. @scrivna Is this something you can help with?
Thanks for reporting this, I have taken a look and I don't see any issues, however we do use a 3rd party to help serve the photos in the newsfeed and I know members have experienced issues loading photos from them in the past, I have no idea why it's intermittent for people, you'd think it'd either work for everyone or nobody, but apparently not.
I have temporarily disabled using the 3rd party so you guys should see it working well now, however this has reduced the quality/resolution at which photos are served, so everyone gets a degraded experience until I can work out a better solution for us all.
Have been posting today, my wife and I, they’re not showing in the feed, but are showing on ‘our’ projects; in last 2 minutes it’s happened twice to @carole_sandford. Very weird. @Scrivna
I have a slightly different problem. When I look at photos on the What's New from Friends page, they are all fine. If I go to the Friend's page some of the photos are upside down or, rotated and distorted. At first I thought it was only one friend but it is several. I haven't checked everybody. I'm on a Mac OS Sierra
