Most of my photos are of a serious nature, so when I stumbled upon this photo op, it took me out of my comfort zone. But I'm so glad I found myself there. Most of my photos make me smile, I don't want to post them all on this thread though so here's a cute one I took today that really warms my heart and makes me smilke :)
I have a couple, but this was a blast to shoot. My son isn't usually eager or cooperative when the camera comes out. He was more than willing to take this photo, with the promise of a candy reward!
This one, i dont really see my family often. but whenever i do i some back with smiles and good memories. this picture was taken on my birthday of my little brother. and its reminds me of all the good times i now spend with my family
This is my precious little angel... love her so much, she takes all my stress away. I could watch her sleep for hours... especially when her little nose twitches while she's dreaming....
My partner had such a ball as a mascot for our store in Mandurah - this photo just reminds me of him doing silly things in this suit like laying eggs, beating up children and pretending to be hit by an ambulance and getting them to "treat" him.

Actually I smile at a lot of my photos, probably because they are mostly of my kids too. Here is one I took on my son's birthday a couple of days ago

THE BOYS' ZONE: These five dudes were leaning up against this large rock on the beach sharing a cigarette. When I asked if I could take their photo, they all started posing and joking around. This is the only photo that came out that didn't have one of them bent over double laughing.

The picture with the two blue herons is of the same bird. I cloned the one standing into the photo of the one flying just to make the picture more interesting.
A group of friends and I went to go volunteer at WetNose Animal rescue centre.This is the cutest Kitten ever! such fun to play with! So sad I couldn't take him/her home!
What can I say? I like PAYDAY!

i would have to say this one because it was one of the first i "set up" and felt it came out just as i envisioned. before this, i had done mainly candids so i was proud it came out:)
because they had so much fun taking pictures
because we had to improvise sledding with my laundry basket
because my soldier came home safely from another deployment :)
because i love the relationship between my husband and our niece and nephew
this one because they are my most favorite band ever, and they're back together and recording new music and i was right in front for this most awesome concert (even thought i took crappy pictures)
and this one because it came out better than i had hoped
I just looked over my photos to see 'which one makes me smile' and you know what I found out? Pretty much all of them make me smile for one reason or another. That, I think, is part of what makes Project 365 so great. However, if I had to choose just one, from this year's project, I think I would choose this one.
I love the way he is sitting. I am pretty sure that sometimes, he thinks he is a person.
This one makes me smile because when I see this one, I think about my models complaining all the time (it was so cold) and that was such a funny moment :p
this makes me smile because it's typical of my husband and son not to heed the weather reports here in Denver. Just because it was warm one day (wearing shorts and flip flops) doesn't mean that there won't be snow the next day. Which is exactly what happened here...
I have the best friends - always willing to put up with my photo ideas. Here we are scooting our butts up to the railing in freezing weather so I can get my sock shot.
@gardengal OMG when I first got my fisheye the kids wouldn't let me take it off the camera! We had SUCH a great time doing silly big nose and big eye portraits! I love your pooch nose!
My computer shows random slideshows when I ignore it for a while. This evening this pic came up randomly and made me chuckle.. so here is the opportunity to share it again.. it got lots of comments when it was on my project
