I was thinking about how my mood darkens as the days get shorter in the fall and I thought about how the skies portray moods so well. So maybe some of you would like to post some photos of the sky just for fun that show your moods no matter what they may be. Be creative and have fun!
This is how I have been feeling rather bleak. It happens to me every fall starting in September and increasing until after the days begin to get longer again.
I have been a boring person, unmotivated, uninterested and just plain old blah! It happens.
I am going back to the gym for some natural antidepressants ie... exercise and sunshine! I must get my sunshine quota and get this blood moving in my veins, through moving!
So sorry I have been absent. School has restarted and the battle of the bugs continues and I am not feeling up to par. But I do have a "pocketful of sunshine" I just have to replenish my supply! :)
As soon as I opened the door to go after the paper this morning I turned around to go after my camera so I could get this shot of the sunrise in the fog and frost.
Pam, I hate the shorter days and that winter is coming. But sometimes I forget how much I truly love October. The air is so clean, blue and crisp (especially after a humid summer). It is also the time I love to be in nature so I can soak up as much sun, clean air and activities before I start to hide out from cold weather.
I chose this photo because it is clean and I am out having a blast.
If I missed commenting on your photos I am sorry! I have looked at each one and trust me this has totally brightened an otherwise bleak time in my life. I am amazed at all the beauty you each one have shown me through your photos! Thank you all so much and keep on posting! 365 Rocks!
Sunrise one morning. Taken with my iPhone with very minimal levels adjustment.
Another October sunrise.

I love October skies when the winds whip the clouds into fantastic shapes - icy winds though on the North East coast of England!
Another one from tonight.
But October can have skies like this:
