I'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to @northy for her time and energy on this thread. You are doing a great job! Congratulations to all the finalists last week and another Thank You to all the people that enjoyed my photo!

This was my first time doing this and I had no idea how hard a job it was to narrow down the choices to 5.....it's amazing the talent on this site :)

Here goes, in no particular order....

1. Jeff @jsw0109 was asked ""For your push this week, I would like you to try something completely opposite of what you normally shoot. I would like to see you shoot something urban and do it SOOC. "


2. JackieS @jackie8 was asked to portray what 'motherhood means to me'


3. Alison @alisonp was asked: 'Hi Allison - I see you have a lot of contact with your grandchildren - so, for your Get pushed challenge, I would like you to capture a really strong inter-generational emotional connection. :)'


4. e.gad @egad was pushed: "My challenge for you this week is to take a fairy tale or children's story and create an image inspired from it."


5. Peter @peterdegraaf was challenged to use the ICM technique.

Not an easy choice to make, but I'm going to go with 5

@slang.... I was absolutely knocked sideways to see my little shoe photo up here with the 'big boys' ..... Thanks to my five voters, I feel so honoured and proud! And to think that 9 months ago I didn't even know what an f. stop, shutter speed or ISO was!

@jackie8 Of course you can vote for yourself. That way there is a guarantee for one vote. In politics always vote for yourself. Even though I usually make a point of voting for myself last week I voted for someone else. It is an etiquette sometimes based on our sense of altruism and self consciousness.
