Thank you everyone who has or is taking part in Planned-4-Jan, we have seen over 1,200 photos so far and we still have nearly two weeks to go!

It’s a little early (due to how the weekend fall) so here we go with your suggestions for Feature-4-Feb.

It could not be easier…
Simply Nominate your word to this forum post and it may be included. You can nominate as many words as you like and if you see a word you like, just add it again... (the more times a word is mentioned, the more chance it will be used). I will then count up the number of times that a word has been added and the top 28 will be our list for Feb2013.

Please make your suggestions for Feature-4-Feb between now (19th) and the Mid-day Sunday (27th) for them to be included. If you have a word that you would like to see on a particular day, please nominate which day as well, for example: Feb 2nd for Groundhog Day and Feb 2nd for Groundhog Day.

I think Valentines, pancakes, and snakes are a given for February so Im definitely voting for those. apart from that, how about -

13th is when Lent begins - maybe something about sacrafice?
18th is Family day
20th is Love Your Pet day
23rd is Banana Bread Day (yummy)

Each month I look at the list and think that I will never be able to do half of the words. But then things just seem to fall into place and it's great to have a framework to use e.g. some days I use bonus words or use the words on different days. regardless of what the 1st ends up being, I will be doing something related to Go Red for Women, as my mom died quite young for a woman due to heart disease and not recognizing symptoms early on. Its very important that women learn more about it, as symptoms for women aren't the same as symptoms for men (which are way more obvious), so I'm suggesting Red for Feb 1st.

And I'm seeing a lot of good suggestions in this thread, so I'm sure you'll end up with a good list!
