Thank you to everyone who took part in our Try-4-July challenge and to all of you who suggested words to Just-4-August. In total we had 340 words nominated and this is how I have compiled our list:
- Firstly I added the words that were nominated for specific dates, for example โLammaโ on the 1st for Lammas Day and โBeerโ on the 5th for National Beer Day.
- I then counted up the number of times that the words were nominated and attaching those to the matching date (for example โOops!โ was nominated 13 times so is on the 13th)
- Where there were two or more with the same count, I added these randomly throughout the month.
- Some words that I have not included as they have been used in recent months, for example Picnic and Monument.
- As agreed in previous months, the following words are bonus words each month; Birthday and Anniversary along with the Star Signs and Birth Stones.
Please note that the dates are just recommendations and you do not have to stick to them, you can use any of the 35 words in any order you like, if you wish to.

Thanks Bulldog for all your hard work. Sorry I didn't put forward any words this month but I was away with no internet connection!! It looks like an interesting and challenging list!!
I went out of town the last three days and I saw a lot of Llamas, so when i first looked at this list I was kicking myself for having failed to take and llama shots - then I went, hmmm. lammas - brad maybe bulldog didn't misspell it. Google?
