Thank you to everyone who took part in our Shoot-4-September challenge and to all of you who suggested words to Photo-4-October.
Please note that the dates are just recommendations and you do not have to stick to them, you can use any of the 35 words in any order you like, if you wish to.
The tag for October will continue in the same format as before, First three letters or the month, the year and then ‘words’.

6th - Shadows (what is hidden in them? [6])

9th - Beatles (John Lennon's Birthday [5])
10th - Brush (Broom or Rake [10])
11th - Egg (World Egg Day [5])
12th - Fall (or Falling [4])
13th - Colours (Orange/Black [13])

15th - Scary (Witch, Wizard or Ghost [15])
16th - Word (Dictionary Day [6])

In total we had 424 words nominated and this is how I have compiled our list:
- Firstly I added the words that were nominated for specific dates, for example Halloween on the 31th
- I then counted up the number of times that the words were nominated and attaching those to the matching date (for example “Lipstick” was nominated 3 times so is on the 3rd)
- Where there were two or more with the same count, I added these randomly throughout the month.
- Some words that I have not included as they have been used in recent months, for example although ‘Tree/Trees.
- I have also grouped some words together, for instance: Scary, Witch, Wizard & Ghost and Brush, Broom & Rake.
- As agreed in previous months, the following words are bonus words each month; Birthday and Anniversary along with the Star Signs and Birth Stones.
