Because of the popularity of Catherine Mitchell's @cathrinemitch "My Country Collage " challenge,We are continuing with a weekly theme!
This week, the collage theme is 'Nature'. You can choose any aspects of the natural world that appeal to you and you enjoy shooting, be it flowers, water, landscapes, etc. Post a total of six photos in a collage (picmonkey offers great free collage making tools).
The challenge will run from today (Sunday February 9th) until next Saturday (February 15) with the five finalists being chosen by Monday (Feb 17). Voting will take place until Thursday (Feb 20) and the winner will be announced on Saturday (Feb 22). The winner will host the following challenge (MFPIAC2)
Challenge criteria:
Post your favourite photos of nature/the natural world in a collage of 6 photos
TAG: MFPIAC1
Have fun!
@lauramalone82 Hi I need a bit of help, I noticed the other day a "Collage" place in Pictmonkey - but I looked to see if it was there to do a nature on and cannot now see where to do it. My usual Paintshop Photo Pro x3 does not seem to have a collage facility. Any advice gratefully received :)
@barneyone Hi Rita, no problem. When you enter the Picmonkey site, a number of options should appear at the top of your screen (edit, touch up, design, collage). When you click on the 'collage' option you will be directed to your photos on your computer, and just select the photos you wish to include and click 'open'. The photos should then appear on the Picmonkey website ready to be entered into your collage. You can choose the style of your collage, and when you are happy with the collage, hit 'done' and you will have the option of editing the photos in the collage, adding text, changing the background, etc.
@homeschoolmom Great collage, you have captured so many elements of the natural world and combined them in a really creative way! I especially love the tree shot, I want to do one of those myself :)
@lauramalone82 Thanks. That tree shot is one of my favorites. We have GIANT trees (that tree was easily 100 ft tall) here in NH, so I couldn't resist shooting it standing right next to it looking straight up.
Here is my contribution, I need more of an artistic eye when putting them together, limited to the choices I had but in future will try and group them better.
@mara19500 Fabulous images from Iceland - a country I have not yet visited. I recognise the Puffin bird though, as my mother came from Shetland and these were her favourites! Nice collage!
@jackie8 Hi Jackie you have to have share the photo as you would if you dropped it into another thread. So copy and then paste details on the right of the photo.
@elaine55 - thanks Elaine! Although I just tried it and all I got was the text link to the album diary page, not the photo itself. It can't be that difficult as so many others have achieved it.... confused.com :(
Not sure if this style of collage is ok. It is 6 photos. This is so much fun that I seem to be making one after the other (we're completely snowed in).
All of these collages are just absolutely amazing. We're still snowed-in and making collages is all I seem to want to do... Here's another (really hard to pick just one for the day...)

The love of nature and the outdoors prompted me to try my first challenge. Fun challenge !!
