I am very excited to get to host the new artist challenge, before we begin, a big thanks to Lou @louuncouth for hosting the previous challenge, there were so many nice photos, I can't believe I'm having this opportunity to host now.
Anyways, searching for the next artist was very inspiring and seeing so many different styles was inspiration and also very hard to pick, I finally decided to pick an artist who photographs all the things I like best...wildlife and nature, our new artist is...Art Wolfe.
I figured no matter where we're from, were all surrounded by some sort of nature and culture, hopefully this will inspire many people to give it a go.
A little about Art Wolfe:
Over the course of his 40-year career, photographer Art Wolfe has worked on every continent and in hundreds of locations. Wolfe’s photographs are recognized throughout the world for their mastery of color, composition and perspective. Wolfe's photographic mission is multi-faceted: art, wildlife advocacy, education, and journalism inform his work. His photos have appeared in magazines worldwide, including National Geographic, Smithsonian, Stern, GEO, and Terre Sauvage.
This challenge will begin today Aug. 13th and run through Aug. 27th, voting will begin shortly thereafter, number of finalist will depend on the number of entries.

I love his photography. I've also loved watching his TV show "Art Wolf's Travesl to the Edge" which has aired on PBS television. Excellent choice for the artist challenge.
