Little Things

My husband came home from the store with these big, juicy berries today; and we enjoyed them with our dinner. They tasted like Summer!

American Photographer Aaron Siskind said, "Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything." Yes, my husband's sweet gesture captured forever. That's what I wanted.

I like viewing this image best on the black background.
You've caught every detail in perfect light!

Janet, I've tried several times to catch these in the wild this season. You've accomplished what has eluded me so far. You've also made me hungry. Well done on both counts.

@cejaanderson Thank you so much, Jane! The bowl was sitting on the kitchen counter with only natural light from a window shining on it. Within a few minutes, the light had changed and was no longer highlighting each little bump.

They look delicious and the lighting makes them look like art. It reminds me of the simple still life paintings of the Dutch masters.
