Heaven and Nature Sing! by janetb

Heaven and Nature Sing!

Spruce and pine and cedar and boxwood – grand green swags hung on the lamp posts - embellished with bow all red and gold and bold. Another task completed. Checked it off the list. Then I saw Japonica all quiet beneath the towering oaks offering its own brand of grand. Red and green, yes. Bold, no. It hit me. God, who gives life to the world, entered it in no grand fashion but in quiet humility. I lingered, slowed, took in this powerful reminder; and my intended picture of lamp posts festooned in finery became Japonica in humble softness. Heaven and nature sing!

I like viewing this image best on the black background.
So pretty and soft looking.

@mittens Thank you so much, Marilyn! I rarely create soft focus images, but the Japonica standing so humbly beside the decorated lamp posts made soft focus seem appropriate.
