I found this small, gray Tufted Titmouse feather snagged on the Summersweet and glowing in 67° sunshine. In January. How did the feather get so tangled, and why is it 67° in January? Oh, the fascinating wonders of nature!
I like viewing this image best on the black background.
Fascinating indeed. This is very well seen Janet and beautifully framed. We have lavender now blooming in the garden which is unbelievable in January. Turning colder now though!
Welcome to the sunny south - barely hit 40 today - had snow flakes (but didn't last long enough to get any pictures). Love the little feather and the very neat focus.
Nature is so beautiful in all of its "moods" and seasons! I am glad that you ID'd the feather in your commentary, as otherwise I would have been left wondering.
