The road to Positano

After the terrible taxi ride to our hotel it was a major relief to take to the water instead of roads. We happened to have friends staying along the coast in Positano and we took the ferry over to spend an afternoon with them. Positano is VERY steep and it was quite a climb up to their apartment - but it was well worth the trip as the views from poolside were amazing.

Amazing where people will chose to build. This seems an impossible site for a settlement. Security, seclusion I suppose when times were different.
