I have decided to 'go Ace' because I'm trying to do a photo a day and I keep finding it too easy to make an excuse 'to just use another of Saturday's pics' etc. Can't guarantee I won't stray from the straight and narrow... I'm just a bit worried that having 'Ace' written by my name implies some sort of unjustified talent. Anyway today's picture is early blossom in front of St John's College chapel. I was trying to get the blossom in focus but the foreground has some fairly unattractive buildings so I had to reach up, press & hope. I wasn't sure where to crop but it turns out that the chapel has a rather doleful-looking face so I decided to keep the lower part in and chop off the top!
Wow...you have things in bloom already? Feels like we're still stuck in mid-winter here, except for one gorgeous day yesterday. I love this shot.
I agree with Helene ~ the only real rules pertain to theme entries. Aside from that, it's your project and you can do it anyway that works for you. I just got an Ace membership, primarily to support the site, but secondly to upload extra things from "any" day that I like. Have fun! :)
Lovely blooms. Nice to see them out so early. It would never have occurred to me that the building was sad :-) It looks just haughty to me now that you mention it :-D
