It was Slovenian Half Term this week as well as our own, which was unfortunate from the queing point of view, as well as trying not to run over small children (which generally goes down badly) but was great as a spectator sport. I loved watching them snaking down the slopes in formation and I rather sympathise with the little girl at the back here, snow-ploughing her way down with furry ears on her helmet. Our instructor followed our lessons with two hours with a group of kids who were learning free-style skiing - he told us, 'You can't be cute with them you have to shout'- because they all want to race downhill in different directions!! We encountered them on the slopes a few times during the week - seven years old at most!
Isn't it amazing how kids can pick up skiing so easily & fearlessly? (for the most part) The last little girl...not so much! Great fun photo of ski school!!
