It was hilariously mad in Cambridge yesterday - our walk went from meeting Jesus outside a phone box to a traffic jam on the river. Around the Senate House was an eclectic mix of graduates in their gowns, tourists, Morris Men and buskers. I chose this because the dancers seemed to be in a world of their own amongst the chaos. They were strangers - the man was teaching a form of American country dance - the name has escaped me but somebody might help me out.
No cropping or processing at all - makes a change!
What movement... you can feel it coming through the picture & she looks so pretty in her floral tunic ! Sounds like a great time to visit Cambridge too with all that going on !! Lovely photo !
@cgould I was thinking of you! My PhD one was on 21st July (which years later was my due date for Rachel though she took till the 23rd to actually appear) - so hot and humid we were all in danger of passing out. This was perfect weather but all that was needed was a wedding at Great St Mary's and everybody could have ended up missing everything!!
I love this shot of their dancing as if nobody watching mood. I love Cambridge when it's full of people having fun like this - although difficult to get through when you're in a hurry!
Very nice candid shot, Judith!
