The forecast is for wall to wall cloud all week but Jesus Green was at least teeming with (mostly) teenage life as the language students have burst out of the shopping centre. Monty enjoyed some serious fussing and spoiling at their hands so he was a happy dog.
Thanks so much for all your commenting - I'm finding myself increasingly wondering how I'm going to find another five months-worth of new photos and have great respect to those who are on their second year!!
Lovely bike silhouette although he looks like an old 'en to me, I don't think somehow you would get some one young & trendy riding a bike with a trailer on the back ! He looks great coming out of dark into light ! Thinking of all these young ones starting out in life brings me to Amy Whinehouse, whatever the cause a great loss of a young person & commiserations to her family
@happypat It's true - not a teenager (!) - but this chap is about 40ish I'd say - in fact I took a couple more pics or 'working' bikes today - not terribly artistic on their own - I'll have to get enough for a collage. I'm feeling I really can't let the 'wheels' theme go by unmarked! So sad about Amy and a group of our very own drug & drink self-desctructors staggered across the park when I was taking this - two of them really young. I wanted to charge up, remove the Special Brew and shout STOP - but I don't think that would have been welcome....
Everyday experiences captured. And, being easy with oneself is the way. I never acheive this idea for long but I know it is the best way and perhaps a good way to live life. Thank you so much for the fav. I do appreciate it and I guess I have a couple of petals hanging on - maybe drooping a little but stil there! I love this photo for being just that - a part of your everyday experience.
great shot - lovely silhouette nicely framed. LOL to the where is the next shot coming from...I think I had the same thought at the 200 mark...this project is funny, inspiration comes in waves...I'm out of the woods for the minute - hear me panic again in another 50 days!!
this is greet, love that it is his silhouette that you see.
I have no doubt that you will find another 5 months of photos!! And, I wouldn't be surprised to see you complete a second year:)
this is a lovely shot - I know what you mean about wanting to do a 'it's-for-your-own-good' swoop on those kids and their special brew - I feel that way all the time!
Judith, have you slipped into the 'song titles' as 'titles' again !!!...From Oasis (look back in anger picture) to Blurs par life..very Brit Pop in you title tastes :)
As for the picture, superbly composed and the 'almost silhouette' works ever so well.
arrhhh...a fellow Chardonnay drinker off to get more supplies before the grape crushing police dance the jitter bug over dwindling stocks. And yes if one does not travel much a piccy a day can be quite frustrating...to capture..my only advice is to drink more Chardonnay and take on the appearance of the mad hatter..i find that this can do wonders especially if one is having a crap summer weather wise. Your grey clouds have arrived here this morning. Sigh...
Outstanding silhouette... really isolates him from his surroundings in such a way that it enhances the mood of the photo quite well, opens up the door to all kinds of interpretations.
Love this! Another for your popular file :-) You find interesting pictures everyday Judith, don't think you will have any problem staggering to the finish line! :-))
