I went to watch Adam play a couple of games of hockey this morning. I love a bit of live sport & as they won both exciting games it was even better! Adam's team played in red - this is one of his team-mates playing athletically in defence. I've gone for a bit of face bluring just in case anybody doesn't want identifying....
@north_ender I know - they probably wouldn't mind and they stick alsorts on Facebook and I nearly didn't bother - but they're still an under 16 team so I thought I'd better play safe.
Wonderful action shot well done Adams team winning. I used to play hockey for Derby ladies team when I was at agriculture college.I don't think I will ever be able to play again !
Looks like he's going at some speed here & congratulations to the winners ...I bet he ate his Sunday dinner with some gusto !!!! When I was at school it was only women that played hockey but now it seems to be a mens game too, mind you it always was a rough game !! I expect you played too at Lark Hill Judith ? A very popular game in NZ & even my son has played there .
@happypat We didn't have a pitch Pat - just boring old netball for us & anyway Sr Gabriel didn't encourage sport much as she preferred us to be doing chemistry!! It's getting increasingly popular with boys as rugby is getting more & more the preserve of very big boys!!
@judithg We had to walk through the park over the rail way line to our sports field, we were worn out by the time we got there !! I was never sports minded but did make the hockey team.
