Rather late posting for yesterday - I was out in the evening and got behind. I'll get commenting later when I've got some work done!
Our lovely old apple tree which has housed numerous swings and tree houses alternates heavy blossom and light blossom years. Last year I didn't post any photos of the blossom because it was a particularly sparse year although, possibly due to the dry, warm April, we had lots of lovely Bramley cooking apples. This year we have beautiful blossom coming but it's cold and wet so I don't know how pollination will go. Mind you we get far more than we can possibly eat so it doesn't really matter - it's just as shame as it's my favourite blossom and the smell on a warm day is gorgeous.
we've just got blooms on ours too and they too have swing and climbing kids memories. I like your dof and play of light and shadow around the sweet blooms
Lovely pale & deep pinks here. Our Bramley apple tree is in bud but not in flower yet. We had such a large crop last year we were giving them away to as many as we could ! There is a limit to how many apple pies you can make !!!! Lovely dark DOF & clear flowers with that lovely light.
@bigsusan55 Actually yesterday morning was sunny for a short while (though not warm) but the rain came back again with avengeance. The blossom still has rain drops on it from the previous shower.
How lucky you are to have such pretty apple blossom! We have nothing to match it despite having three different varieties. Pretty shot with delicate lighting.
