Lazing on a sunny afternoon

On Sunday the river was absolutely packed with rowers going flat out in training for the May Bumps which start on Wednesday. This girl was oblivious and was still well away when we came back from our walk (during which Monty took his hoop in the river and with a not inconsiderable amount of effort sank and lost it). Proof that we've had one sunny day this month......

@bpaquette They do float but he's chewed a hole in that one and dunked it enough times that it filled up! I risked life & limb climbing onto a little island in the river to retrieve it & he grabbed it & decided tug of war would be fun so I had to let him have it before I took a swim. Should have got a Labrador...

I agree with Barbara your bikes get in some odd places! Ah & Labradors love to swim too Judith but do it lazily! Clever girl she has picked the perfect day to loll about on a boat ...I presume there was a man about somewhere as there are two bikes.

Yep first English post on return and there is a bike already! Great place to be when the sun shines. Lovely peaceful shot of the river. We had a lab they arnt much different! He obviously didn't like that hoop.
