Another shot from yesterday's jaunt around town dodging the rain. This is the Dept of Materials Science and Metallurgy on the left linking (I think) to the Babbage Lecture Theatre on the right. One day I will achieve my goal and take a photo between lectures with people on every floor. In the meantime we have a lone worker.
I forgot to say how grateful I am for all the lovely comments and faves on my blue cars - Rachel has had her second lesson and is making much more rapid progress than I did!!
@jantan@fueast It's possibly not the most scenic spot in Cambridge (!) but it's actually quite a bit taller and 'eye-catching'. The 'New Museums' site where it's located is the most ramshackle, odd place though. There's a big dinosaur of a whale squeezed in as well. You wouldn't think it was a place of high-tech discovery - probably why all the new high tech departments are eating up green fields on the outskirts of town...
Fantastic! Love the colors, structures and lines, and the backlight behind those stairs. That person on the stairs completes the excellent composition!
This is slightly unusual for you but I really, really like it. Great composition - could be an advertisement in a magazine. Love the near monochrome and that lone figure makes the picture!
Reminds me of the halls at uni.
Nice regular, geometric shot.
