I'm not getting all philosophical - just the only title I could think of. I went to see my friend Elizabeth today. She has just finished a Masters in Printmaking and is super artistic and talented. She also has an old-fashioned typewriter that I've had my eye on photographing for a while now so I took my new macro set up thingummy and had a play. I found I have to set the camera to quite strongly underexpose to get the right effect - this wasn't my sharpest shot but it was an angle I liked.
I remember having a typewriter just like this, it looks so old fashioned. I wonder what they will look like in years to come , A wonderful close up shot
Marvelous! The perfect lighting combined with the character of that old typewriter make this such a wonderful composition. Excellent work with your thingummy!
@snowy@quietpurplehaze@cdonohoue@sparkleplenty1 An iPad keyboard will never have the same artistic appeal but it doesn't tire your arms out - these must have required good muscles and posture I imagine!
Great shot! My mum used to have one quite like this! And then Allan bought me a little portable one for Christmas long ago..........even it looks ancient now! History is so fascinating and creativity is a gift and a joy!
