Taken from the inside of Cambridge Contemporary Crafts which has some lovely things of an affordable nature (compared with Cambridge Contemporary Arts which has gorgeous things you have to save up for). I found a tea cup necklace in there for my tea-loving friend's birthday. It really suits her - I am quite jealous! A cheat shot as taken from the inside the writing was back to front. I may not comment much as I slept not a wink last night as my mind played out every possible connotation of Rachel's A'level results. She slept like a log and exceeded requirements for her course by some considerable way - I knew that -but just not at 3am. Normal service will be resumed soon!
That's a really cute display. I'd love to see a photo of that teacup necklace as well ;). Wow, Rachel is doing greats in all fields at the moment, isn't she? Congratulations to her!
congratulations to Rachel for getting great grades. My niece got her grades for Bristol Uni, so so far, so good all round! I hope you get a good night's sleep (after a celebratory glass of wine or two perhaps?). I'll be the same next week, waiting for Ed's GCSE results...
Quite understand - its quite a relief when they grow up and stop taking exams!! Nice shot and background text, must go and have a look next time am in the town.
Well done Rachel I was also having a restless night wondering if Beth would get the required grades for Bristol, I see Helen has mentioned that she had. btw I like the picture of the shop it looks like one I would love to look round
When you are a mom it never changes. School, jobs, girlfriends/boyfriends, something always keeps us thinking in the night. My 30 year old son is sailing our boat to Maine for three weeks with a friend and his girlfriend. I can't stop thinking about it, yet, my husband and I did it most every summer for years in our late 20's and 30's. If they could invent a ;ill to help mom's not worry I'd buy them out.
@sailingmusic And my mum says grandchildren are just extras to lose sleep over!! I'm so glad mine don't climb mountains - going on on their bikes is bad enough!
Was just thinking about Lydia's results due this morning & realised I hadn't heard how Rachel had done. so pleased for her..& you.. such a relief after all that hard work!! Congratulations to her & on to the next step! Jack did alright too but he has another year yet as he changed subjects. Love the window!
