I stayed snuggled up in bed just long enough to be sure that Nigel had got up to 'do the hens' this morning and then took my cup of tea downstairs for breakfast! Naughty maybe but I've been feeding and watering them before dawn all week in sub zero temps. And I could have wasted a spectacular morning but for a text from our friends in Cambourne inviting us to walk over to the coffee shop in the neighbouring village. It was so lovely to see the sun and blue sky (morning only!) although we felt a bit guilty as Monty, who had waited outside, did a comedy walk on the way back until his bottom had warmed up.
Three good things:
1. Making the most of a beautiful morning.
2, The thaw is well underway.
3. Abantu coffee shop in Bourn
What a beautiful pov ...sweeping views everywhere. It does look cold, but still a great place to walk. The silhouettes of the couple really are the icing on the cake.
fabulous winter shot judith, we were out and about in the 'virgin snow' at 9.30 am this morning, for 2+ hours...me jane and ruby trudging through the snow ...almost as good a morning as yours i think :)
Thank you!
Love the shadows in this. All our snow has gone now. :(
You say 'naughty'...I say, "smart lady". :)
