At this time of year the cherry blossoms just along from the Fitzwilliam Museum put on a magnificent display. I'm not sure what the red threads are - I didn't see them at the time but looking at the photos they seem to be all over it. I took these a couple of days ago and thought I'd completely messed up the focus but I've decided I can use this one.
Three good things:
1. Some gardening actually achieved.
2. Monty quiet and let me get on with it - unfortunately it turned out to be because he was chewing through a gardening glove...
3. Cambridge City Men's 1st team have avoided relegation.
A lovely blossom roof & your photo as usual has an interesting background.....how that yellow belisha beacon stands out!! I like the girl striding out!!
This works really well, I feel like ducking my head under the blossom to observe all that's happening in the background! Great pov, must try a similar one myself (copying is supposed to be a sincere form of flattery isn't it?!)
Heavenly blossoms!! The first time we took Irwin to a restaurant and we prided ourselves at how quiet he was under the table, turns out he was eating all the gum stuck on the bottom.
Great shot! How long d id it take for that lady to walk by to finish out your pic? haha Are those really threads? That is intriguing! anyway...this is a lovely spring scene!
i like no. 3 in your 3 good things judith ......we once went to watch bolton play cambridge utd...in the 80's (the day bucks fizz won the song contest)...days before the internet and sat nav....we just followed the floodlight pylons on the horizon...ended up at city rather than united.....too much info'........nice blossom and background, gr8 light......commenting during the ads in 'broadchurch'....bit of a disappointing end to the script ... not much detective work to catch the killer !
How different this looks from when we walked past when we were over in the freezing weather. It looks so beautiful framed by the blossom. btw sorry I have not had time to make comments , we have our other daughter Jane & our granddaughter Beth staying .
Lovely sprung spring
