When we took Monty to Ickworth for a walk I wasn't expecting this to be the photo we came back with. Much of the parkland is essentially flooded from the dog walking point of view (didn't stop them charging full price!) so we went on a new route. It was still pretty poor underfoot in places but it was nice to get out somewhere new and Adam was at an away game in Norwich so we we free spirits. We were admiring a really beautiful thatched cottage, out on its own in the middle of the estate when Nigel suddenly said, 'Look at that face in the tree.' I thought he meant a gnarly bit of bark with 'eyes' in it - not this - would give me nightmares I think.
Four GT:
1. A very grumpy fast day nearly over.
2. A parcel I needed collected from the sorting office before it closed.
3. First win of the season - 5-1.
4. My sister - happy birthday Carole!!
Yikes, made me jump, is he hanging in the tree on a chain? Lucky no body bumps their head on him. Be back on track for dog walk soon. Why not come to me and and we can have a coffee chez moi? Saski staples out in 8 days.
@lucypics I've cropped out the fence from underneath so he's quite high up - fancy one in your garden? Sounds like a great plan. Was talking about you (well Saski) at Ickworth with a nice man with a tri-colour spaniel (docked - I restrained myself...) and a Slovakian rough haired pointer with a great big slash in its foot. Beautiful but bonkers dog - he said he had managed to get his collar of shame off followed by the bandage in record time and then gone over a 7ft gate because he wanted a walk... Let me know when's a good time for you.
@shannejw Never done a weekend before but I'm getting fed up of putting the weight back on again so I'm doing an extra fast day - been starving all day - Friday was no effort at all....
@judithg I am lucky that Saski is so mailable and accepting. Not interested in tampering with her bandage, think it must come with all the dressing up we do to her. No collar of shame for my pooch. One day the week after next would be good, any day looking good except Tuesday.
Weird head with no neck...creepy, would put people off going walking there I think.....not very nice in the evening!

Dieting on a Saturday are you mad.....too much food around for family to even consider that, well when I had children at home that was!

The best fast days are the ones when I'm at work all day and out in the evening - at home and tempted is not good
