Idea blatantly stolen from @lucypics. Hope Adam comes home to eat it fairly soon or I'll be undoing the diet. Justin Beiber should stick to cakes and sweets - having read 'The Goldfinch' the term 'prescription drugs' which used to seem relatively innocuous, makes me shudder.
Three GT:
1. A visit from Juliette and the kiddlies. They are not keen on the dog (especially) or the cat but Rosie assured me, 'I DO like hens' - and the hens had obliged and laid an egg!
2. Enough eggs stored up to make a cake.
3. I've lost weight - 4 lbs altogether so far - 3 to go but I'm flagging with the fasting....
I think yours has more haribos than mine!!! I bet Adam loves it, I ate, I'd say 3/4 of mine and is the reason why I too am on a diet. A round cake is harder to tuck in to, you have to have a fair wedge which is noticed, a square cake on the other hand is easy to cut slivers from and before you know it ....... Bon appetite :-)
@lucypics Sorry! I deliberately didn't buy many biscuits to encourage weekend cake eating! Thought it might encourage Adam to bring a gang home for FIFA but alas ... They would have eaten it all in minutes.
that looks great - the fasting is a relatively painless way of losing weight isn't it? Was really pleased with the reduction in muffin top yesterday morning, no scales to weigh myself, only to find that the new team leader brings cakes to the biweekly team meetings - it's not helpful.
That looks sinfully sugary and delicious. I can't control myself around gummy bears, or gummy anythings...there would be a few gaps in the candy toppings if I were around that cake for any length of time. :)
That looks delicious and I can feel myself putting on weight just looking at it. You're very good - I have to ban cake-making if I'm on a diet because I work at home and if it's still there on Monday it will be yelling up the stairs at me!
Looks really delicious. I couldn't possibly have such a thing around if I was on a diet! Am still eating slivers of Christmas cake, though I fear my son will finish that off when he's here next weekend.
That looks delicious and it's a lovely photo too. I am impressed that you've read The Goldfinch. I have bought it, and went to the event in Cambridge last year with the author, but I haven't started it yet. I've just started on here, it's nice to find a Cambridge photographer!
