This is my friends' beautiful, hilarious Italian greyhound Claire (they are like miniature whippets!). She is 14 years old now and almost toothless but she still skitters around and loves to come for a cuddle.
The weather has not been little dog friendly over the winter in Annapolis and she has been scooting out the minimum distance when absolutely necessary (on three feet so she can keep one warm). What a funny little creature! For years we had a whippet/terrier mix and folks often guessed she was an Italian Greyhound. I have to say, our Windy did look a lot like Claire. I always thought with her slender little legs and flanks that she looked so much like a little deer. Fun shot!
