Well sort of. I got a tip off via Facebook that King's Parade had 'gone all 1930's' this morning but I had work to do this morning so didn't get out there until most of it had been packed away. A few props and extras were still around though and they were filming in King's College and St John's (I think - there were people hiding behind hedges) and also doing some shots on The Backs (setting up top right - about to shed the rain bonnets - may be scenes for the credits as a panorama view of King's from there). It's for TV series - a murder mystery set in Granchester and starring Robson Green - sort of Midsomer Murders meets Unchained Melody.
Three GT:
1. I didn't miss ALL the action.
2. They are more laid back than film crews.
3. Alerts on your phone that remind you which neighbour's cat you're feeding and when.
One thing about living in Camebridge there will be so many cameras around that another one more or less wil perhaps go unnoticed ...if if get my camera out in Great Eccleston every one turns to look!
Love this varied collage of all the doings there, beautifully arranged & each photo very clear...I am never happy with my collages but yours are very artistic Judith.
@tishpics@happypat yes it is Patricia - and it turns out I inadvertently photographed the star - man on bike top left! James Norton playing the vicar - never heard of him!
