Not technically the best shot I took at the wedding but one of my favourites. The registrar warned the assembled guests that the bride looked amazing but we still all started crying when she appeared! It was a fabulous day.
Three GT:
1. Beautiful brides
2. Emotional bride's fathers
3. Family bonds
Oh god, I'm not even that into weddings in theory (down with the patriarchy, etc) but I'm routinely a sobbing mess during a good service...a guilty pleasure!
@jewelsandbinoculars no being given to a man by a man in this ceremony - really rather refreshing. Bill Beaumont did a rugby themed reading (written by his wife) and a lovely woman on the bride's side did a lovely self-penned reading and other than that it was about a 15 minutes interlude between bubbly in which we all blubbed with pride. Marvellous.
@judithg that is nice, we had an acoustic guitar player at kirsty's wedding, he played two sets, the first one on the lawn at the hotel venue for the wedding breakfast and the srcond one in the marqee in the evening
