An evening drink by judithg

An evening drink

Apologies for another bug shot but I haven't taken Monty for walk yet so I'm back to the garden for inspiration. Tonight the honey bees were working the newly opening Astrantia flowers (which have been great value this summer). They were sitting very still which helped the macro but the flowers were blowing about in the wind - which didn't.
Three GT:
1. A good night's sleep - after so many nights which seem to end at about 3.30 - hoping it's just summer and not some sort of permanent insomnia.
2. A haven't had a stroke - I was so tired last night that I fell asleep on the sofa and when Rachel and Nigel got home from karate I could only open one eye!!
3. An evening walk to come - I think I will summon the energy to head off to Newnham - should be lovely tonight.
Awesome capture.

The focus looks perfect to me - love the fuzziness again :). Maybe you're sympathising with me so much you are sharing my sleeping patterns ;)). No, seriously, I do hope your sleep is getting better permanently soon! How was the walk?

I agree with Janna Ellen about the fuzziness. I wish I could do that, but I don't think I can do it on a phone.

I love his eye! I know what you mean about waking up at 3.30 as I've been doing the same but that's because of the worry of this dreaded laptop (not the one I'm using) but the one that has all the porblems

Nothing wrong with a good bug shot and this is a great bug shot. I hope your sleep regulates a bit. Nothing worse than being tired and not being able to sleep xx

Lovely colours...how well green & that soft pale pink go together.....your bug is being a great model....blur is good!
Only one thing to say about the waking in the night...don't go downstairs to eat cornflakes, your body gets used to midnight feasts & it starts to expect food in the middle of the night....from one who knows!
