This photo a day business is proving quite a challenge at the moment. I am very busy with governor duties and then there's the real job to keep on top of!! Just about time for a few quick iPhone shots while I was running an errand in town - not ideal weather for it. There were loads of undergraduate gowns around last week as matriculation ceremonies were well underway - not too many this week but I managed to catch this one - in Trinity's rather stylish navy.
Three GT:
1. I bumped into Rebecca half way round my rather utilitarian dog walk and it made the second half more fun.
2. I realised that the evening course I was attending started at 6pm in Huntingdon not at 7pm in Cambridge just in time to throw some dinner together and arrive in time.
3. A very nice policeman on the course who was very reassuring about his job sorting out wayward juveniles - he was of the put a uniform on, go round to the house and make everybody cry school of policing - not the give kids a criminal record school.
Sounds a very sensible guy!! Must be nice to see the students back again.....must give the place a buzz! This project is hard to stick with sometimes but I am stuck as all my family love reading what I am up to everyday......if I dont post they think I'm I'll! What do they do with all the bicicles during the holidays. I seem to remember that the only time I have been to Cambridge there were lots of bikes at the station.
@happypat Ridiculous bikes at the station - the students take theirs home - noticeably more at the moment. And the bike thieves are very busy helping themselves...
An old fashioned approach which worked so well in those days! Tell the parents too! Good to catch these guys - is that gown blue? Does anyone call you, "Guv"?
