I tried and failed to take the trumpeter and the mayor 'doing' the Remembrance Day silence. A few nice ladies fussed Monty which got him excited and when the mayor said a rocket would go off to mark the two minutes I knew we were in serious trouble. I did manage to avoid barking during the two minutes with a fat treat but when the 'end of silence' rocket went off so did Monty (not barking - he just wanted to run away) so we had to beat a hasty retreat before we were in the newspapers for all the wrong reasons. The railings etc will be familiar to many of you - they have featured before.
Wonderful colours and detail. Our Garden of Remembrance is opposite the village oub, and last year the oub dog escaped, running through the onlookers. I managed to restrain ours!
One there for Monty I see....Top Dog......I hope you take him to that venue! Almost like teading the newspaper here..........love the bikes all parked in the front......where are all the riders? There must be something along the road such as a cafe perhaps? Will see you at MacDonalds Judith. I am meeting Delena at 9.30 at usual spot at Euston on Saturday. I think we are both up to getting to Liverpool St by ourselves! Save you coming out of your way.....will text you if in trouble!!
@happypat I am going straight to Liverpool St from Cambridge - I get in at 10.18 so you'll be there before me I think. I will be ready on the train if you're lost! I use a Tube Map App on my phone now - really easy but I miss the paper map (though my eyes struggle to see it!)
@judithg ok Judith, I'm surecwecwill muddle through together...I am a great believer of asking when in doubt!! Have got quite used to the tube over the last two visits!
