Home of the "Sangwich"

I pass this deli every morning on the way to work. With today's weather forecast, I decided to grab a shot before work just in case the roads started to get ugly before lunch. The deli has some of the best wall graffiti in the area, and claims to be the home of "the original sangwich." Now, I don't know about that. Having grown up in an Italian family, I can tell you that my grandparents called just about anything between two slices of bread a "sangwich" long before this deli opened! Still, the wall looks pretty cool.

Post processing started with a serious edit job. There were several very thick power lines connecting to the building, and they had to be removed before I could start work on the finished product. It was tedious, but they did come out. I ran it through a simple photo pop filter in topaz Adjust, and then darkened the levels a bit. I applied a hefty dose of saturation to bring out the brilliance in the colors, and then topped it off with a blue photo filter.
This shot is really interesting, almost post card-y :D

@tabithasyear Thanks, Tabitha! It is definitely unique to Rhode Island. We laughed everytime my grandmother referred to a "sangwich." Who knew there was really a place that sells 'em!
