I haven't used my "nifty fifty" in a while, and I was in the mood for some lunchtime street photography, so I headed downcity at lunch to see what I could find. I parked on Water Street and had no sooner started walking towards the city when I spotted this gentleman taking a power nap on a bench along the river. It was too good to pass up. I did take a few closer shots, but this distance seemed to capture the proper mood of him resting in seeming seclusion with the bustling city towering over him in the background.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, protect highlights, boost black, and boost white. I added a brightness and contrast adjustment, a levels adjustment, and a sepia photo filter in PSE.
