Lincoln, Rhode Island
As the weather continues to improve, the number of people enjoying Lincoln Woods State Park continues to rise. There is a 2 1/2 mile ring road that circles Olney Pond. The ring is known as the Les Pawson Loop, named after the Rhode Island Marathon great. Pawson trained extensively on this loop road, and won the Boston Marathon in 1933, 1938, and 1941. He died in 1992 at the age of 87.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
