crab-o-rama 2

the "o-rama" here of course refers to a multitude. The unseasonably extreme rainy weather today brought the crabs all today.
Wow, lots of them - can you eat them?

Wow. Those little guys are all over. Are they a nuisance? Great shot.

@pizzaboy by all accounts they are not edible
@netkonnexion generally they are not a nuisance, they are protected by most people here, we take great pains to avoid them when they cross the roads. I understand that during the migration for spawning they cover the roads and some roads are closed down to protect them. Barriers are put up along the roads to minimise the numbers on the road and there are a series of grids (like cattle grids) to provide safe places for them to cross (under).

Cool capture of the bright little guys! It's good that they're protected - I love the idea of little crabbie grids :)

HAHA! Crab grids! You're not in Murgon any more, Al ;) I love seafood, especially when it comes at you in delicious swarms...
