Another shot from my garden, today was wet and overcast for most of the day, the rain stopped for awhile and the birds were out terrorising the neighbourhood, the cockatoo on the left after a quick grooming session proceeded to try to chew on the power/phone lines
animals/birds must sometimes get into grooming mode. Sometimes when my cat is licking itself clean it switches to me and starts licking my arm/. Eh thanks, but no thanks.
@chewyteeth LOL - a dog I had years ago had an obsession with licking people's ankles .... and ears, my cat would groom the dog - the cocky on the left had previously been grooming (and groomed by) another cockatoo just out of shot here - so fickle
@jenrobcarr Our weather in Canberra was wet and cold, tomorrow I head back to Vic, so I'm hoping for nice weather for the long drive. As I mention above, if it is young love, it is fickle as the bird on the left had previously paid attention to another cockatoo to its left
aww theyre so sweet. I know they can be a pain the the backyard but I cant get enough of them when we visit my sister in Cairns. we saw quite a big flock of black ones too this time...still a bit displaced after yasi.
