Black Shouldered Kite - Lang Lang beach - beyond the sand dunes

I walked along the beach watching the sand/mudflats trying to get close to anything more exotic than a seagull and glanced in the other direction to see this kite watching me from the grass zone just beyond the sand. he was not keen to remain for any closer shots. The cropped in version is pretty sharp, but I like the scene with the trees and grasses and the kite seeming to survey his kingdom
