I dedicate this shot to anyone who reads the words "caution - contents may be hot" on a take away coffee cup and shakes their head in dismay at society.
Yes the crocodile trap has a sign cautioning people to not stand on the trap. I say let them, after all we were in Darwin, named for Charles Darwin, as are the Darwin awards dedicated to individuals who contribute to our gene pool by removing themselves from it.
The sign advises: "It is an offence to touch, stand on, enter, move or otherwise interfere with a crocodile trap owned by the Territory Government."
Tssss! Crazy! Actually I'm with @mwarren365 ... if the lawyers hadn't fought cases for stupid people the powers that be needn't be so scaredy. Over here we've heard of stupid rules like 'kids can't play under oak trees in autumn in case they get hit by falling acorns?!' I tend to think anyone treading on a crocodile trap is asking for trouble though!
Haha, that's stating the bleeding obvious. Of course, we all know about people who would do exactly that and @mwarren365 is right; nowadays it seems we all have to protect ourselves against being sued.
Ok, I am now asking for some flower photos, or kids or puppies.... I had a dream last night -- I was body flying over a croc pen with my feet just barely above their snouts.
I wish there were more dangers in society, there are some people in the UK who were designed to be capable only to escort themselves off a cliff edge, under a train or into a submerged cage full of crocs. sadly local government does its best to keep these people alive.
