Kites come in for a feed -Adelaide River, Northern Territory
Other than the wonder of the jumping crocs, towards the end of the cruise they provide a feed to the local kites. The kites start swooping down by the boat and small scraps are thrown to them which they catch mid air. One of the boat crew advised me to swap me big telephoto lens for something a little wider. I was glad I followed that advice, the birds came in close. It was wonderful.
What an amazing shot! Bet it was an incredible sight too. Wonderful!
(We have one of these flying around our skies recently - but never when I have my camera nearby...!)
