the Eastern Rosellas enjoy fossicking for a meal in my garden provided an excellent excuse to not mow ( I ended up mowing the next day and the rosellas came back anyway, I'm sure I'll find anther excuse to not mow)
Sweet capture. They never sit still long enough for me!
(Have just refollowed you - for some reason you fell off my list! Maybe because I thought you'd gone. Anyway, you're back again, thank goodness.)
OMG! I can't believe that these avian rainbows just bop around your yard.............they are so exotic to me........but I guess common to you.
Wow, Les x
@jgoldrup@glimpses@filsie65@girlie@synke@judithg@doorknee71 thanks all for your comments. After a very dull winter these colourful birds are such a welcome sight, and even though I do see them most days lately, I never get tired of seeing them. There are a group of youngsters as well as parent birds, so I hope this means they'll be staying in the area and I will get to see them again and again.
