I asked the lady what she'd caught and she told (and showed me) fish and octopus. I watched her cast her net out a few times as she rowed off into the sunset (really!).
@bobfoto It is so easy to carry around. It is slower than DSLR but at a fraction of the weight is is easier to have it with me. I can fit a couple of lenses in my cargo pants/shorts pockets when I am out for a walk - lovely to not need a heavy camera bag. On the downside it was too slow to wake up and focus on the Palm cockatoo and Brahminy kite. The dslr and 70-200 f2.8 is probably better for bird photos but the E-M5 is awesome for travel
@bobfoto I bought the Olympus E-PL2 in 2011 purely for underwater photography as they have an excellent housing but shutter response time and refresh rate was frustratingly slow. The E-M5 doesn't suffer from that problem. I also think the tilting screen is really handy, good for those subtle "from the hip" shots, or low sots, tilted the other way is good for high shots above eye level. I love the way it knows to switch between the view finder and screen view. I am glad I made the purchase
