Of all the days to be uninspired! How often do we get a February 29th? Once every four years. You'd think I'd be able to come up with some ultra creative or humorous way to capture this day on "film", but no. The brain is mush, the sky is gray, and the joints aren't doing much better. So this is what you get! Any guesses as to what it is?
I figured ut long ago that I get paid salary on a 365 day calendar year. Therefore, I would technically work for free today. But, taking a "mandatory wellness" day is much more fun! And, that's how I got my inspiration!
@cluvlj I'm glad you were able to take a "wellness" day and have some fun on your "free" day. I've been unemployed for 2 years now, so everyday is a free day here! Hopefully come fall, they'll be paid days again. @woot Thanks Davide! @tklein Thanks Tina- I'll post the answer tomorrow.
I'm gonna go against the general consensus and go with broom bristles. But whatever it is, you did a great job capturing the texture of it! I know how you feel when you are uninspired. Sorry you've been out of work for so long. I do hope you find work soon. I miss working.
@cimes1 Thanks Carole- that's ok. I didn't know what to shoot this day. It felt silly to take a macro of a broom for such a unique day, but the creative juices were dried up in the gray day! The "reveal" shot however met my usual standards!
@lisjam1 Ah yes- the benefit of looking at the "guess what this picture is" picture after the answer has been posted! I was thinking about putting this one up on the freaky Friday post, but so many people had fun guessing and said nice things I felt bad about doing it! I have to remind myself that one of my worst made it on to the pp so why should I worry!?
@olivetreeann That’s the funny thing about the PP. Everyone gets so excited to be on it, but really most of the best don’t make it. When I tagged mine, a couple kind of made me cringe.
