Hot Diggety Dog!

I did have some hot dogs in the house this week, but we ate them the other day! Oh, no! Today's Try 4 July word is "hot dog". Hmmmmm..... where to find some? Well, with no "live" models, I resorted to taking a shot of Rachel Ray's suggestions on how to top off a great grilled hot dog. Then to make it my own I put it through the processing paces on Ribbet. My apologies to the creative photographer on Ray's staff for making their delectable dogs look like they've been exposed to nuclear fall out!
Awesome

Very clever idea Ann and who knew you could have so many different toppings.

@gratefulness Thank you Sandi! How about that? I was upset with myself for not remembering hot dog was on the list this week. I would have taken a shot before we ate them!

@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! I didn't- but I'm a mustard and bun kind of gal anyway. But the picture does look appealing (when it hasn't been processed like this!)

@daisy Thank you Kathryn- although I took a shot of a shot, I thought I'd play around with it for a bit. These hot dogs will never be the same!

Yummy! I try not to eat too many hotdogs, but I do have to have a few of them over the summer. Hotdogs...and summer go together. Creative idea!

Thank you Dione, Jennifer and Carla! I'm sort of embarrassed at how much everyone is liking this picture! lol I really can't take credit for it with the exception of those crazy Warholesque colors. Someone on Rachel Ray's staff did all the real artistry- I just took a picture of their picture!

What a creative idea, Ann! :) Love it! You did a nice job with the processing... And I'm sure her staff will forgive you! Good job :)

@prttblues Thanks Bev! I know I'm safe as long as I don't mass produce it and try to make money off it! haha- not something I'd do in a million years!

@taffy Thanks Taffy- they did all the work really, I just messed around with the colors. They are named (from L to R) Pastrami Reuben Dog, In a Pickle Dog, Pimento Cheese Dog, Hummus Deluxe Dog, Buffalo Dog, and French Onion Dog. No sign of a Chicago Dog. You may have to write Rachel Ray about that- but I believe she is a native New Yorker, so you might not find much sympathy there! lol

@espyetta Thanks Marybeth! When I first took the picture none of them really appealed to me, but since I read through what they were, a couple are actually looking pretty good!
