Hello my friends and followers- just a quick post to let you know I'm alive and well! Hurricane Riley blew into town on Friday and took out our electric and internet connections. I'm at a friend's right now but won't have any access to 365 for another day or two. Looks like we're in for another storm tonight! Thankfully our neighbor has a generator and our wood stove is keeping us toasty warm but I do miss you! I'll be catching up as soon as the snow settles! Until then- Ann
So glad you are okay -- had wondered when I hadn't seen you on here. My brother's been without power for about 4 days now (Baltimore). Crazy -- no snow, but just from the high winds. You capture the feeling well with your image.
SO glad that you are safe and well despite all of the inconvenience. Must be very difficult to be without electrics. Look forward to having you back when you are ready. I like all the layers of snowy trees in your image.
Neat shot - been thinking about all you on the east coast and following the weather channel reports - this has been a really wicked one for you. Do hope this next one isn't as bad. Stay safe.
My goodness. I was reading on FB about the area where I grew up. Lots of power outages and even a man killed by a falling tree. This is a pretty snowy scene. Be safe.
Didn't hear about Riley. Glad you are safe and well. We had Emma and also the Beast from the East which was Siberian wind chill down to about -10c. Sometimes we over egg the pudding with our challenges in the UK but I have to say this one was rather cold. Stay warm and safe!
Thank you so much my good friends! We were so excited when the electricity came back on this morning (Mar 7) at 11 AM- 12 hours earlier than they had told us it would come on! So bravo to the workers on that! As you can imagine I WAY behind on lots of things but so glad to be checking in on 365! I will slowly be catching up with you and posting pictures with some "storm stories". But the short version is we're fine and happy to be taking HOT showers again! (o:
