Today was Laundry Day and there was a decision to be made: Drag it all to the ever-so-lovely Laundromat, OR drag it to my dear friend's house and wash while we watch movies, visit, sip tea and nibble cookies.
My friend is so sweet for letting me take over her laundry room on occasion, and I've always insisted on paying her. She resisted at first and then gave in when she understood I wouldn't have it any other way. So this is the Money Jar. She laughs whenever she sees me take it off the shelf and drop in my payment. She calls it her Vacation Fund. LOL Hope she's planning on a camping trip. ;-)
We had a wonderful time, watching 'What About Bob.'
Completely laughed our butts off, which is just what we needed after the horrendous week our country has endured with the bombing in Boston and the fire in West, Texas.
This is such an interesting shot. Of course doing laundry would be much more fun with a friend watching movies. I would love you to come to my house when I do my laundry and you could do yours for free.
