3½" floppy, ‘dissected’ by rhoing

3½" floppy, ‘dissected’

These are all the components, although the metal “wheel” holding the disk itself has not [yet] been removed from the disk.

Two steps to get here:
     1. Peel up one side of the rectangular, metal cover and remove.
     2. Pry open the case.
The small metal spring will fall out, the disk can be removed, and the small, black, sliding-tab can be removed as well. (That’s the feature that allows the user to “write protect” the disk and prevent the over-writing of the files on the disk.)

Almost there, Mags!
